hello everyone i have had my GTI for a few weeks now and really want to put 18" wheels on it and lower it but where i live there are loads of big speedbumps how low do you recommend if at all?

Yep no lower than 40 imo
Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

i was thinking of getting some koni springs and shocks that go down 30mm will this look ok with 18" wheels and are koni good?

By some coilovers and get it as low as you can but still being able to get over all the bumps  :wink:

Have a look at Rhyso's, Rich's, Bob's or Stink's car their all lowered 30mm  :wink:

sorry you can now how can i look at thiers? and something else i wanted to no mine hasnt got that little front splitter thing that some have got they look so much better with it can i put one on somehow if so where do i buy them from?

30mm is not enough if you like the low look TBH - depends what you like.
