mk3 golf gti 8v, cutting out at a certain temp,

my gti is cutting out when it gets to 90 deg c. it feels a bit like its running out of petrol
then the revs jump up and it cuts out, iv changed temp sensor it went fine for a week and now its happening again
its happening when im in traffic build up mostly, can any1 help please?  :sad:

check the ecu and fuel relays....common issue

faulty ecu relay no 30
Both the 8v and 16v have the same #30 ECU   The #30 relay part # is 165 906 381
Check them by feeling how hot they are after 15 minutes of driving. they should be warm to touch. so cold relays means faulty relays!

faulty fuel pump relay no167 
Make sure you get a light grey/brown coloured one with 'made in germany' on it and it comes brand new in a vag box. The originals were made in Tunisia and are a known issue!! and test is same as the ecu relay
