Day 3 hoping to hear today that the car is smashed with them in it.

Slept for the first time last night - alarm all fitted, door deadlocks and window has been 'sealed'

Just a waiting game now.

Cars I'm eye spying are - MKIV R32, MKIV ANNI, MK5 GTI... MKII GTI/G60

They are not getting me out of VW after 5-6 weeks no chance, help will be needed though.

good stuff

the more i read about the gti, the more appealling it is.

it may not be the top of the bunch of golf's compared to ed30 and r32

but they don't seem to be much slower and especially when with a decent remap, plus better economy

but the gti is all to tempting to spend money:
- remap for one, and things like dv, exhaust etc.
- also for early ones need to consider cost of cambelt and waterpump etc

Yeah my mate has a GTI its an amazing car, reason why i got the R32 was on his persuasion. I give it a claybar a week ago and i must admit it felt good to drive and is still a damn quick car.

I was looking at doing this with one - 05/06 GTI, Interlagos cloth then (hopefully with money left from payout) Revo, milltek, BBS CH, 30mm drop, colourcoded top rear valence, uprated brakes.
