sorry to be a bit of a newb onm this, but are you talking about wheel spacers?
something like this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FK-PCD-Adaptor-Wheel-Spacer-4-100-5-100-VW-BMW-SEAT_W0QQitemZ400041260428QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item400041260428&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

nope

wheel spacers make your wheels stick out

anti-roll bar helps reduce understeer to aid in cornering  :nerd:

ah ha.

cheers for clearing that up with me

i take it you only realy need a ARB if ur dropping it more then 40mm?

and is that the same with spacers?

correct on the roll bar front - spaces i think you need an adjuster ring to clear the strut - not 100% sure

wheel spacers are generally used to give your wheels a bit more poke and give a wider stance to the car
