I was on 0miles yesterday, put in £3 Texaco fuel as its only a mile down the road just to get me 5miles over town to fill up on Murco!(I seem to burn texaco fuel more than anthing!).
Anyone else show this loyalty?  :grin:

....Yes, I've occasionally had to put in a fiver's worth of BP Ultimate or something, just to guarantee my arrival at the next Shell station.

Anyone have any links to reviews on all the main types of high octane petrol?
I may try Tesco99 and get some points at the same time ;)

Quick search and I came up with this....

http://www.thorneymotorsport.co.uk/tuning/Fuel_Test_Results_Update.shtml

For those who dont want to read it all (like me!), here sthe end result....

Bottom line? Use the Tesco 99 fuel where you can find it, it offers the best, most consistent performance of the fuels available and it’s cheaper than V Power. If you can’t find a Tescos that sells it then go for Shell’s V Power. If you’re feeling really flush, have a point to prove on a rolling road day (days where car enthusiasts compare their cars power on a dyno) or want to extract the maximum potential out of the car on a track day then the BP 102 fuel is worth a go, just bear in mind that £150 a tank would pay for a good proportion of tyres or some decent driver training.

I used to use V-Power and Tesco 99 in my ED30.  It always sounded slightly "raspier" on Tesco 99 but smoother on V-Power IMHO

Can't really tell any difference in the R32,  sounds good whatever I use

V Power for me

Always get 2-3 more mpg than with ordinary unleaded.
