Golf Mk 5 Gti still for sale
« on: 12 April 2009, 12:24 »
There has been a delay in the delivery of my new car but the Gti is still up for sale.
Please navigate to the following link for details. Have dropped the price accordingly and is negotiable. Offshore at the moment but back in the country on the 17th April if anybody is interested.

If you've posted in the for sale section, there isnt really a need to post again here......

 I posted it a couple of months back so it was lost in the for sale section. Just wanted to remind people that it is still for sale. I'm sure if the moderator feels that it should be moved its down to them and not you.  :lipsrsealed:

Andy,
You just sent me a PM regarding the wheels. I tried to reply but there seems to be an error with the mail system. I wont be back in the country till Fri 17th, am away for that weekend but if you want to give me a call on my mobile the following week, feel free. The wheels on the car are genuine refurbished VW Monza II's that I bought of ebay as I wanted to keep the originals in an as new condition.
Obviously if i sell the car privately I will put the originals back on but if I decide to trade in I will leave the refurbs in place. Will need to check the type of tyres when I get home but the originals i think are Dunlops with only 500 miles and the refurbs are Continental with 6800 miles. I would be looking at £1200 for the originals-(£2000 if you buy the set from VW) and £500 for the refurbs (wheel caps included). One of them has has slight oxidisation under the laquer but can probably be fixed again. I have a brand new wheel that I kerbed after only two weeks that I will throw in for free, you can always get it refurbed and use it as a spare. No offers on these prices.
