Just bought myself a 1990 Mk2 GOlf GTi 16valver, which I absolutely love.
Runs like a dream, with no rust etc, but has a small bump in the roof between the sunroof and the front door, looks almost like it was hit with a golf ball. Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop somewhere in the east that can sort this out? (and hopefully the headlining at the same time!). The nearer to Kings Lynn the better, but the main thing is to have a really good job done, so don't mind travelling.
Also, it has quite a few stone chips on the bonnet (Royal Blue with the white undercoatcoat show them up pretty well). Has anyone had a bonnet respray, or is it better to get it professionally touched up to avoid having slightly different colours on the car?
