First problem!!

I just noticed this yesterday...........



Ive tried putting it back in place myself, but the clip is so hard to pull together so that I can get it back up in place! Dont have enough plastic to grab onto so that I can loosen the clip!

Any hints/tips??

I may just take it in to my local dealer tomorrow, as I'll be popping in to register myself as the owner of the car on their database, so I can get my plaque - will the dealer request I book th ecar in or can they quickly sort it??

you will not be able to do this "by hand",  you will need a pair of pliers or similar to nip the sprung metal together, refit the snorkel, and release.

Thought so - havent got a pair of pliers that open wide enough though :(

looks like you need a new air filter, exhaust, IC, and remap :evil:

I had exactly the same issue after my 1st service, garage obviously didnt put it back on correctly

It's a struggle to get on, I used a pair of adjustable pliers as above & washng up liquid!, just needed something to help it slide on!

Went back on after about 30 mins & bloodied knuckles!

Ive already bloodied my thumb! lol
Im taking it to the dealers tomorrow - car is under warranty so will let them sort it out ;)
Just hoping they will do it on the spot and not ask me to book it in or anything??

That clip is an arse and half to loosen/remove.

I used this >clicky< which helped because you didn't have to keep squeezing the handles together.

Thats exactly what I tried using yesterday stealthwolf - but I think mine was smaller as I still couldnt get it round the clips when fully opened!
