« on: 10 April 2009, 12:53 »
basically my speakers have died and have an inverter (i think its called) which plugs into the cigarette lighter bit with a standard socket at the other end. was wondering if i could link up my pc speakers with a sub for the meantime without having to wory about it draining my battery or anything else....

cheers,

I wouldnt really, the ohms is probably all wrong and you would end up melting your head unit.

I see, i wouldnt like to say if the ipod could take it. Not sure what kind of power these speaker kits take. If you have the voltage converter installed put your hifi from your living room in, proper!
