I emailed the guy about the registration plate difference,  he says that he fitted a second hand tailgate, pic was taken before he got a chance to change the plate over.....

firstly if you were selling your pride and joy especially something so 'rare' you'd use more than 3/4 lines.

Then non matching number plates, failing to mention lack of MOT etc looks like a hammered chav mobile

I have spoken to the guy via email, believe me when I tell you that he's not the sharpest tool in the box! but that aside, I do think that that car is a bit of a rarity.. black paint, Speedline wheels?? if not, they do look of the era, headlamp washers, and the GTI Engineering steering wheel, plus, what he says IS under the bonnet... who knows
We could do with someone. that lives in that neck of the woods, to go and give it a quick reccy
