Midbox question

i got a powerflow midbox (that sits infront of the rear beam) off a C reg mk2 8v gti and was wondering if it will fit my 1.3 system, i already got a performance gti backbox on it

8v pipe should be 2" - so just measure up your 1.3 pipe

is that the pipe that runs under the car from the downpipe to the midbox cus thats the one i need to know the size of

standard no, 1.3 is smaller diameter. since you have a gti backbox check what was done to make it fit!

i just measured the bore diameter of the midbox that would connect to the exhaust system from the downpipe is 2 inches and where the backbox connects to will fit straight on, will i need to fit the reducer that i needed to fit the backbox to the midbox fit the otherside of the midbox

sounds like it should work aye, may need some fettling on the front pipe as i dont know what the 1.3 zaust is like. i know on a 1.6 driver the front pipe goes all the way to the mid silencer, so on that you would need to chop the pipe down to the right length :)

will hav a look in a couple of weeks gonna get some powerflex exhaust rubbers for it as the ones i got at the moment are perishing and hav only been on about 6 months
