I run a 5mm spacer on the front wheels,you need it to clear the adjusting ring.

mine are v maxx but there the same units just branded differantly. My opinion is if your going LOW then pay a bit more for a quality set. If your going 40mm or higher you should be fine. You do get what you pay for but for an average kit and average ride quality these make a very good value buy.

i never had them but i've been in the car that fitted to it , all i can say is i dont like it one bit , all i can say is what u pay is what u get ?

My mate has a set and has got them on the lowest setting, I can't believe how comfy the ride still is on a half decent road. Im defo getting these in time

I ran them on my mk3 for 8mths and I would never use cheap coilovers again the ride was shocking to be honest plus I found the threads very poor and it made it really hard to get the car level.

ive read lots of things on the hottunning ones and tbh id rather pay a bt more for a good quality set in my case im going for weitec as ive never heard a bad word abotu them they arent over priced but a price you'd expect to pay for a decent set, alot of people do say buy cheap buy twice etc

but its up to you, you might find they are great and exactly what you want

They are exactly the same type, made by the same people and re-branded

Alot of people have questioned their quailty, but its mostly people with more expensive branded coilovers that do this with out giving them ago.

Look at it this way, if your on a budget they are perfect, they come with a 2year warrenty, most people dont keep their car much more than that anyway, so no biggy.

It comes down to you and your budget at the end of the day.

Just to through this in, I have heard the AP sets that venom are selling for £320 are ment to be good and a grate price.

if people on a budget and wannago low ,u can buy some AUDI TT strut which is 10mm shorter than mk4 strut , get some lower springs and now u can buy a top mount which can lower the car buy 10mm ,so depend on how low the springs is all in all u can lower the car at least by 50mm upto about 70mm which is plenty imo ... at the same time u get comfy ride too ...
