Hey folks, to all those who have fitted 18's wheels to their mk4 golf how much did it add on to the insurance? (also list what wheel it was I.E oem, aftermarket)

tbh mate, i think it has a lot to do with how much they feel like adding on..

It is up to the insurance company, some will charge just the admin fee others may ass £50 to £90 extra, worth bearing in mind unless you have a modified policy they will only replace them with standard wheels.

Its probably best to add them at the start of a policy as they'll add a admin on top.
Probably best to call your insurer and ask.
