Have you got a leak, water inside the car, damp carpets?

Are you losing coolant? Could be that your heater matrix is leaking coolant into your heater and then you're blowing it onto your windscreen.

Hmmm i thought it might be that. My passenger side rubber looks in good nick but if a  hosepipe is applied water gets through, not when its raining. Everything is dry.

Damn Alpine systems and there wires, i couldnt get it in so i may have knocked a few vent pipes of whilst forcing it in. The heaters at the top dont work whatsoever, fronts work fine but the top ones need to be looked at.

You might have dislodged the heater vent control wires when you were messing with your head unit.  You'll have to have your stereo out to check that the wires move when you slide the knob about.  If they do take the centre console out and check the air box, theres a little cog wich likes to come off and stop the flaps moving.

It could also be the flaps have deteriorated
