the second one is a highline badge...basically the newer blue and silver vw badge for the mk3 and its flusher than the normal one (there not that cheap tho....but its worth checking ebay.de)

It is a nice badges don't know why they are so pricey though?

You might be able to sand off the paint and repaint a colour to suit like old ford badges (buy a few in bulk and stick them on ed38 rare factor squared)

A guy is selling them on e bay for £25, is that more or less than you got yours for?
really want one, amongst other things for my MK3.

No!! but thats the going rate..(not cheap for a badge!! but that keeps them rare, which can only be good  :cool:)
