Castrol Edge 5w30 - you can get it from Halfords.
Either that, or do what I did and pop into your local dealer and pick up a bottle of oil from there - just ensure its long life oil. It was £15 for 1 litre.

Fifteen quid - for a litre!  Was that the geniune VW stuff or was it Castrol or Quantum?

Quantum I think - I'll go and check later!
Made a mistake really - I should have went to Halfords and got the castrol Edge, which was about the same price!

Isnt £15 how much it generally is? Or have I been ripped off again?!!! lol

So how much are people generally paying for a litre of Castrol Edge??
Halfords have it for around £15 a litre - anywhere have it cheaper?

Well, to save you feeling bad, I bought a litre of oil from my dealer for £17.55 the other day, so £15 is cheap! :) Think it was Castrol Edge. If I end up needing quite a lot, I'll try source a cheaper large bottle somewhere else.

Also picked up some touch-up paint I've not tried yet, which was cheaper than on ebay.
