I had G-max 40mm lowering springs on stock shocks, and they seemed a lot better than standard, however I then put FK coilovers on and the difference was amazing.
It now has no roll and sticks to the road like used chewing gum, however the downside is the ride is extremely hard.
Springs are a cheap option but if you can afford coilovers then you wont be dissapointed.
