I'll bring mine to BugJam even if the camper doesn't make it. Can't be without somewhere to chill in the evenings.

Aye, deffo need somewhere to chill. :cool:

Martz, Rallye fooked on me last Saturday as I was going down to Vaughn's for GTI festival. Oil p1ssing out from underneath, looks like it's something to do with the transfer box, but not sure exactly yet as I daren't ring the garage. :shocked:

Christ mate, I remember those feelings! Hope it's all ok mate, those damn Rallyes, like blinking women! :shocked:

Is that the rear diff then? If so I had the same problem, mine locked a little before spilling some oil. Was not too bad in the end.

Thanks for the heads up Chuff. I know the garage is waiting for parts so I may not need a new one.

No it's the front one. There wasn't any oil left in it when they looked at it. Don't know why I bother sometimes.

Passat Syncro gearboxes have shared oil with the main gearbox, IIRC - fitting one of those might stop this happening again.  Not been launching it on the strip, have you?  Rallye componentry's not really a fan of that.  Maybe I shouldn't ask, but you are running matched tyres on all same-size rims, aren't you?  The Syncro system's a right git for needing to have everything matched up properly.

Hope Camper is going to a good home!

Was a couple of nice Rallye's at that meet last week so hope you get yours fixed soon!
