Any good gains to be had from a remap caz? Is that why ur after a d/v???

always good gains to be had from a remap but a DV has NO PERFORMANCE BENEFIT on a diesel - its purely for the sound  :sick:

Since noone has mentioned it yet.. you can't put a normal dv on a tdi, since there is no conventional throttle you can't rely on a vac to operate the dv. You have to get a special kit made up which are usually electronically operated. http://dervdoctor.co.uk/ is the place to visit.

ive taken all badges of it at the rear. Just got my gt spot badge on front grill...lol

i know im being blonde here, but im just on demon tweeks (just browsing) and theres all sorts available... is it just the valve I need.. as theres adapters, twin pieces..  :undecided:

Don't bother with them - combine all the worst aspects of say Thik-Fit Kwik-Fit, add that to the worst aspects of PC World - and you are getting near the reputation of DT.  :sick:

The FSI engines are identical.  They are not throttled either, which is why they also need a vacuum pump for the servo.
