Been off the road mine for a bit and not been on the forum for a while so hello again chaps

Iv Repaired the water leak and new discs and pads all round on my mk4 V5.

Getting some 18's in next few weeks followed by a remap and new exhaust hopefully at R-Tech.

Then can look at my paintwork. List is never ending haha

Today I fixed the broken indicator - just need corroded contacts cleaning in the end.

I did go to have a look at the central locking as its not working. Went to check pump in boot but only found this :

Nice of previous owner to tell me it had been removed !

So instead I decided to have a clean under bonnet / engine bay and ended up cleaning underside of bonnet.

From this :

To this :

.

Bit pointless maybe but hey ho.

Oh and cleaned up the miniging boot under spare wheel and boot carpet. Looks like new.

Lots more to do ...

Been a while since i have visited here!

Today I fitted a new battery, coil pack, bosch iridium plugs and new leads :)

Next thing todo is brakes, penciled in for wednesday!

My 16v Anni is still running like a dream & flew through the MOT last week.

Just a couple of spots of rust to fix & she will be tip top.

BTW does anybopdy know the part code for the black alloy nut covers? some local chav stole mine, i can only guess it was an attemot to knick my wheels but lockable wheel nuts saved me i think!

Mk6 Gti - current daily
Mk3 16v Anni - retired daily now parked on 200,300 miles
