Discovered that the code card was missing from the Meta Alarm - so now the missis has lost the fob I couldn't turn the alarm off. :angry:
Found a great company local to me who removed the dead alarm, and fitted an Autowatch 457RLi which is a thatcham category 1 alarm, with wireless sensors.
The guy who installed it treated it like it was his car - 3 hours work and the trim inside fits better than when I last played with it! He has owned 3 GTis in the past.
He even replaced the blank switch plate that the LED sits in as the previous one had been butchered. He also said he had a brand new stealth shelf for the back that I could have for a tenner! I already have one, but if anyone wants one I can give you his number. Abacus Alarms, good company that I would recommend.

As I took the time off from work, I made the most of it by fitting Hill Armour plates to all four doors and replacing the two rear handles with new ones (that work!).

Oh and I topped up the screenwash...... :tongue:

fitted a new windscreen  :sad:

ripped front lip off that was fitted yesterday on the 1st speedbump :sick:
