Got my blue joiner hose for the maf/carbonio only to find once opened the internal dia was the same all the way along  :sad: so no good given it to a mate and re-ordered a correct size joiner/reducer should be here this morning  :smiley: also got a new pollen filter cover coming to  :laugh:

fitted a new pollen filter cover and when my hose reducer arrived got that fitted between the maf & carbonio job done all blue hoses all sorted now  :laugh: also gave it a hoover and wiped over in the engine bay got to get it all cleaned up in the morning ready for the r-tech r/r day  :cool:

Got in my golf to go to asda and my tax disc had fell off tryed to stick it back on  :rolleyes:cheap sh!t from howfords

Took my lady to work to have a final check on the new rear badge I have fitted when my Keyring desginer popped rould with the samples of my Golf GTI Keyrings.... Had to take some photos of the Badge now fitted and the Keyring together....

Tomorrow I'm off to the stealers to pick up my new Water Temp Sender & G12 Antifreeze, will fit it during Lunch.....

mmmmmmm /\ /\ those keyrings look  :cool:

got up early this morning and gave it a good wash and got the tyres etc all done shame i gotta go to work later and try and keep it clean  :laugh: :rolleyes:

Fitted New OEM Temp Sender... Picked it up today.... £22.00 Plus VAT....

Guess what the Temp Gauge now works properly.... Yippeee....

Topped up the coolant with G12... So Happy Bunny...

Moral of this Story is;

GSF Senders maybe cheap.... But Guess What - There's a reason why... "THEY ARE CR4P"....

Stick To OEM Ones.... Maybe Twice The Price But They WORK Properly....

Also Fitted New Gear Knob That I bought From a Member... Better Than The Old One I Had... :cool:

Been out and hoovered her out...

Gauwd I hate having dogs at home, even thoo shes not allowed with in 10 feet of the car, her bl00dy hairs get everywhere....

Carried on with cleaning the engine bay, toothbrush, white spirit cleaning off and dressing all the hoses, cleaned and polshed the rad fan plus a few other bits. I've also taken off the plastic grille underneath the bonnet as it's gone milky so it'll be cleaned and painted before going back on, best of all i had my five year old helping me out  :cool:
