Washed it, shammy leathered, polished it, tee-cut the scratches/bugs, blackner on the trims and wheels, crazy acid stuff on the alloys :D looks sweet now hands burnt from the acid tho :/  :undecided:

well yesterday actually  :grin: picked up a map sensor from vw and some oem lower grilles kindly given to me :afro:
cleaned and treated the lower grilles removed smic and gave it a good clean out and fitted a new map sensor also gave the air inlet temp sensor a good clean as it was black now its back to its original colour  :laugh: see if this cures my prob  :undecided: oh and hoovered it out and then fitted the oem grilles and went for a quick drive  :evil: today i'll probably wash it

Finally fixed the rear passenger door which wouldn't open from the inside. Cable had come unclipped. It now works! Woo-hoo!!  :laugh:

Had replaced snapped speedo cable, sorted the not working wipers, blower controls died. Brake Master cylinder died so order up a new one, arrived Sat as supposed to be at my first time trial today (Sun). Fitted new M/c, replaced corroded brake lines topped off fluid. Bleeding the brakes I knackered the bleed nipple and thus the caliper @ 1145pm last night in the rush to get it finished. Now can't go to said trackday/ meet :rolleyes:

Such is life

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Washed the mk1 and was going to detail it then I was also going to replace the alt power lead as one of them is looking worse for ware but it started to spot on to rain and is now raining properly typical :grin: . I spent the rest of the afternoon under the garage ramp changing a crank sensor on a mates car.

washed it and went out to get another hosepipe for it as the old ones sh!t  :laugh: and got back and it starts raining

Fitted my new hofle lower bumper vents, now i just need to get the cold air feed pipe for the BMC CDA.
MK4 GTI T AGU, REVO Remap, BMC carbon box, Miltek cat back, Forge diverter valve, THS FR3 engine/Gbox mounts, Some random alloys, lowered on coilovers.
192bhp 212lbft torque.
