Got it back from the garage, have considerbly lighter wallet but have new water pump cam belt thermostat return valves and now have heat in the car for the first time since I bought it

Now all I have to do is to sort the knocking suspension and get it tracked and the clutch cable and and and and, but the list is getting shorter

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

attempted to sort out the fact my milly is hitting the rear beam since i removed the adjuster rings on the rear coillies  tempary measure has been to fit one of those exhaust bandages around the pipe/area where it hits seems ok for now but may have to remove a piece from the beam if it starts rattling again  oh and gave it a wash to

tommorrow i'l be looking at adjusting my droplinks getting fed up hearing the d/s making a horrible noise on full lock

Cleaned throttle body, re-seated the cam cover gasket as it was leaking, fingers crossed it's OK now.
De-greased engine block and cylinder head and gearbox, and renewed the anti freeze with some Comma Red stuff
