considered dropping the BBS off and fitting the steelies for it to sit on whilist laid up.

Cleaned the interior plastics and steering wheel.  Haven't cleaned the wheel since taking possession of the car in March and I was staggered at how disgusting it was.  Took 6 large interior wipes to even take the edge of the filth.  6!!!!!

And yesterday (meant to participate in this thread last night but forgot) I took the throttle body off and gave it a proper clean and new gasket.

Thought about cleaning it then decided against it and will do it Thursday night instead before Bugjam.

Vaxed the interior and cleaned the bird crap off it.

Then enjoyed scooting around the twisties in the sunshine.

Going to miss my dub whilst on holiday...

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

no, but it would have done 2k without cleaning by then, there's about 10,000 bugs stuck on the front  :rolleyes:

had a productive day  :smiley: took the intercooler off cleaned and painted it, removed my lower fogs and replaced em with some nice bumper vents, cleaned the throttle body replaced my boot lock and cleaned the bonnet catch  :cool: :cool: gonna sort the started motor next week  :smiley:
