Fitted new clutch kit, and new clutch cable, and a pair of new outer CV boots, and replaced all linkages, and bushes etc on the gear lever rods, Service history of my car pointed towards my car never having a clutch fitted as a replacement, the clutch that I removed was the original LUK O/E parts... not bad  for a 21 year old car. the new kit is LUK, and identical to the OE part.
Gear change, and clutch now feel silky smooth.... which I like :cool:

brought some side skirts for the mk2 and a suspension kit and alloys for the mk3.............
dam its gettin expensive doin two cars up lol

draged the wagon out of the garage to find a blowing exhaust ( knew i hit that speed bump a tad hard the other day )

and a wheel bearing / brake binding noise . . . . . .  . ..  :undecided: :huh:

oh well, Roadtrip with the AA card handy me thinks  :grin:

this afternoon i spent about an hr sorting engine bay out on the mk2 for removal of the dead ABF lump :cry:
top end sorted now just to do eveything under neath then remove the front end of the car......

Yesterday I wrapped jubilee clips round all the rubber exhaust mounts to lift it slightly to stop the exhaust banging on the anti roll bar caused by some VERY bad influence  :rolleyes: :grin:

Today I have driven round in complete silence  :cool:
