Realised that the numpty who replaced the battery didnt screw it back in so the poor power steering fluid was holding it in place so i bolted it back in place and tyreshined the horrible faded grey spoiler :)

Took it out for a spin for the first time since I have owned it, 2 months, was impressed with it 16v mk2, not had one for years, every pot hole I hit felt like my suspension had collapsed but it has been changed recently all round, is this unusual or is it me being used to my mk4 gtiT?? Looking forward to putting my new rubber on my refurbed BBS RA's asap, will post some pics then.

Cleared the snow off the drive to move the mk1 out of the garage to have a bit of a clear out so that i can hopefully when im finished squeeze both the mk1 and mk6 (when it arrives) in there till the winters over. So basically all i did to it was pump up the tires. Get the oil pressure up, then let it run till it was nice and warm. Then put it back in after a few hours
