washed mine
dried it off
masked all the trim etc
polished
cleaned all the glass
dressed the tyres
and then admired how shiny it now looks  :cool: :smiley:

then
sprayed a front grill badge for jonnyturbo
re-aligned his new bonnet
sorted out his broken washer jet hose

Forked out on a new key (VW  :sick: ) and picked up replacement bits for damaged D/S door mirror.

Fixed damaged mirror.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Bought an original airbox for my 8v on Fleabay decided to take it back to stock.  Getting rid of k & n 57i filter.

Have I done the right thing?

Told the guy who runs the bodyshop in no uncertain terms that it would be in his best interests to get my car finished.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.
