Dropped the car off at the body shop again so they could fix their sh!tty work. Found out that gearbox is still leaking despite being back twice, add to that I haven't driven it properly in 2 months and now my rev counter etc isn't working

Keep telling myself it'll be worth it when I get it all sorted/ reliable...

I will be giving the guy in the body shop a crude attitude re-adjustment if he doesn't get his act together. Been keeping cool past few weeks but seriously loosing of my patience.

If you read about a auto painter being punted into space with a spray gun shoved in an unmentionable place, you'll know it was me.

Ahhhh, feel better now...

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Did the weekly shop. Still astonished at the amount of space in a Bora's boot. Could've fitted a whole pig in there as well as the Sunday roast and the bacon...

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Fitted a new sump to my mk4 golf turbo today as when i got it up on the ramp and undone the sump plug last night it pulled the thread out with it !!!! rushed around this morning to find a helicoil kit but none available to fit the original sump plug size and even my local vw dealer get a mobile guy to come out to them when they have the same issue at a cost of £100
so on phone to my dealer and £75 for the sump , £13 for the sealer and 2 gaskets and a sump plug all in all £107 and took me an hour to do !!!! only got the car on wednesday !!!!

Collected it (first golf ), washed off the sawdust it was covered in, took pictures for here and fixed the permanent live on the stereo.
