v power effecting emissions???
« on: 03 April 2009, 08:25 »
My v6 4motion has just gone through MOT with no emission faults but filled up with v power for the first time in 6 months of ownership last night and my exhaust emissions light has come on. Could this be related to fuel? Anyone else had this happen?

Will it reset itself if emissions improve?

Try getting it scanned on VAGCOM and giving us the codes. I doubt it's anything to do with the fuel. I always run my 1.8T on V-Power or an equivalent :)

Yep, I run my 1.8T on V power too with no problems. I hardly noticed a change when I swapped about 8 months ago either.
