Buying Guide?? GTI and Edition 30

Hi,

We are looking to buy a manual Edition 30, is there anything I should be looking out for?
Has anyone done a buying guide on the forum? have done a search without any joy.

Apart from the normal, I have been told to check for moisure in the lights, but that's about it.  Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks very much.  I see motorpoint have a load of new ones.  We may have a look on Sunday, and see if there is a deal to be had.

Just in case you dont know, they are all imports with only 2 years warranty. Other than that its the same car as a UK dealer can supply.

Thanks for that.  I take it the third year is through VW UK then.
I don't think there is an issues with imports anymore, with regards servicing, warranty, arsey dealers etc. Unless anyone knows different?
