miltek sports cat question...
« on: 02 April 2009, 19:46 »
firstly sorry for not using the search but it would probably take forever trying to find the answer searching through all the miltek threads.

Basically is it posible to fit a sports cat to the standard cat back system on a agu? i no as a rule you normally change the cat back then do the cat but i was wondering if i could just get away with changing the cat and getting the same performance as a full system?! is this a possible thing to do and would it cause any problems?! if so il be buying a cat asap then off to saint nick for remap part 2!

cheers all

No cant be done - bigger bore pipe also you then just put the 'bottle neck' on the rest of the system.

Need the Full system TBH how about custom a made one?

not strictly true Rich..........

Milltek can and do supply a reducer to allow the sports CAT to fit the standard system

its not advisable as when you come to fit the rest there is a good chance the reducer is stuck because of the constant expansion and contraction of the exhaust due to the heat  :nerd:
