I thought it was just down to whatever the factory put on them. I had originally thought all the turbo's had red I's but discovered that wasnt the case.

been on my mind 4 ages, i knw the AUM engine is newer is that correct? but is that the only difference or is there more to it than that??

the agu has cable throttle and the aum has electronic throttle 

the AUM has an electronic throttle the AGU has a cable driven throttle as DAI said but the AUM also has a better turbo the K03s better for tuning,the AGU has the K03 and the AUM has VVT(Variable Valve Timing)
