well i was thinking of being diffrent lol any ideas on a rough price for the compleate job with all the parts fitted

Parts and fitting your looking around £2500-3000 using new decent parts (less for used or cheap parts but finding a garage that will fit them and offer a warranty may be difficult!)

£2500 - £3000 to get 10bhp more than a 16v, do you see where Im coming from now?

yes but what about a 16v, and then buying a supercharger for it?

if you want power, forget the 8v, forget the 16v, fit a 20vt and remap it..

other than that, your never gonna set the road on fire... just depends what u want from it i guess.. they are nice cars anyhow, i love mine, prefere driving it over the mk 4 which has just shy of 200bhp and the mk 3 gets ALOT more attention too
