If you are willing to put the miles in to find the right car and not get put off by looking at half a dozen complete nails then you will find a good one for your budget. I recently paid £2.5K for an 01Y AUM with 100k and FVWSH -lovely motor. Good luck.

Cheers for the help guys, still debating whether to get the car or bike tho.
The car would mean i have to save till June, the bike would mean i can buy it now (although there's hardly of what i want for sale)

I miss the cosy interior & having my sound system playing. But i miss the speed of the bike. Although i'm guessing a mapped 1.8t would be just as fun.

Arghh! If i had the money it'd be the car.

If you are looking for value go for the car. I work in the motorcycle industry and there is a huge shortage of good used stock at the moment so prices are on the up, whereas cars have never been so cheap.
