Noob with a race car
« on: 30 March 2009, 18:41 »
Hi my names Luke and i own the Mk2 Golf racer on your stand at spring fest (amongst others)
I have been on here for a wile now as i was introduced to the site by stu and copey but not really had a chance to post.

Im currently running in the MK2 golf gti championship (and doing fairly well) but we will see how it goes.

thanks for the welcomes :)

Sunday was perfect, really good weather too, thanks for letting me on the stand, sorry the car wasnt very clean but i didnt get back from racing in Britcar at silverstone untill 2am sunday morning so the golf just got rolled out of the garage sunday morning  hence the tiredness too...
The car usually is really clean :)

I will try and start a topic in the motorsport section to keep you updated with the MK2 championships progress through the rounds if thats ok?

Also if you would like to put some GolfGTI stickers on a front running car let me know

Helloooo and welcomes

id love a race car!

Haha its not all its hyped up to be...
Driving them is good, but even in this relitivly cheap form the money, pain, heart ache, sleepless nights and general faffing about that allwase happens no matter how hard you try to prevent it really does make me think why is it all worth it
then when you get to the point that your running at the front there is allwase someone that thinks your cheating...

Its all in good fun and VERY addictive though....
