Cleared out the garage today and put a few bits back in the house temporarily, while putting the rest of the stuff neatly at the end - should be enough room for the GTI for now, so it'll be safe for the meantime until the keys are done.
Dont think the seller is keen on shelling out for new lock sets though, since he said no details were with the key, so after the new set have been re-programmed it would be nigh on impossible for the thief to find the car anyways.
