I actually cant wait till I see a MK6 at the lights as I will leave him for dust and he will sitting there thinking "I should have bought a MK5" You wont be leaving anything if his is chipped too. haha true, Iv done a bit more than just the remap, so fingers crossed he would have only had the remap.Plus his driving a MK6 so is clearly a ponce who cant drive

lol you got a MK6 GTI on order?
But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I actually cant wait till I see a MK6 at the lights as I will leave him for dust and he will sitting there thinking "I should have bought a MK5" When i read replys like this it brings back memorys of the mk2 GTI advert with the astra GTE driver sitting next to the calm collected mk2 GTI driver at the light with the GTE driver gripping the steering wanting to race. It does seem there is a large portion of mk5 GTI drivers who think they are astra GTE drivers out there and feel they need to prove something. I see them on a daily bassis and its sad the rep they are giving the true GTI driver.
Given the choice, I would personally pick the mk5 over the mk6. mk6 seems over priced, and really doesn't have the aggressive looks the mk5 has. The fogs on the mk6 look too, really ruin the front.
