Bit of background:
Battery failed so I thought I'd give the car a bit of a service when I replaced the battery so I:
Replaced all ignition leads
New distributor, rotor, cap etc
New coil
Replace oil and filter
The distributor was leaking oil and looked like the rotor arm had been forced off in the past, the coil had corroded terminals and I replaced the rest as a matter of course.
After replacing all that, the cars runs but is seriously lacking in power! Have I missed something?
Do I need to redo the timing after replacing all the above?
Dodgy new leads?
Coil wires back on correctly (I would have thought if I'd got the wires wrong it wouldn't start at all)
Have I got the HT leads in the wrong order (followed a diagram on here 1,2 on top, 3,4 on bottom of dizzy cap)
Help please!
