Newbie Edition 30 Questions
« on: 26 March 2009, 19:16 »
Hi
I've had my edition 30 for a few months now and have decided to start mod'ing it.    Car's being remapped next week to 300bhp and I'll add a Miltek Sports cat and back box next month.

Other than that I was going to add an induciton kit but am finding it hard to source one.  Apparently there are different types of Edition 30 enignes and now all kits fit etc etc.

Any advice would be much appreciated !!   Also any other quick and easy mod's you can suggest ?!?!?

Robert

Oooooh, a fellow modder

There are several induction kits out there. The best looking is the Carbonio as it enables you to retain the OEM engine cover, but it doesn't give quite as much power benefit as some of the full systems like Dbilas, EVOMs, Neuspeed etc. I also believe there is a group buy being set-up on another forum soon.

Quick and easy mods are numerous and it depends on whether you just want engine mods, or suspension and styling mods as well.

Thanks for that.  I was just going for engine mod's first off.

I'm considering:

New DV valve
Front Mounted intercooler
Replacement turbo pipework
Cold air forced induction
plus exhaust, sports cat and remap

Anything else ?

Didn't realise blueflame were doing them, otherwise I would have already been there.  Used blueflames on all my cars and bike previously !!

Thanks
