Sorry mate - didnt realise they deliver and I can have them fitted closeby!

The only part I was worried about when buying a GTI was the cost of tyres, since Ive seen prices around £200 for some tyres!! Way too much for me!
I may go for these Falkens when I need to if they come well recommended!

i've fitted them to my MKIV and over the last 1000miles have been fairly impressed - their wet weather capability has been excellent and in the dry they seem as equally capable as my previous Goodyear GSD3's

definietely worth a punt for the money :afro:

I fitted two Falken FK452's to the rear of my ED30 last weekend, they are just coming up to being worn-in. Ordered them from Camskill and they came next day.

The FK452's come highly rated as a performance, value for money tyre by literally loads of other car forums.

In my oppinion, pay as little as you can for your chosen tyres. That allows you to spend a little more on making sure you wheels arent damaged when fitted. I'm always careful of "fully fitted" prices as sometimes its just because the place couldnt give a monkeys and turns jobs round in 10 mins.

I paid £30 to get my two tyres fitted, they took over an hour to do the job and kept the wheels spotless.

This is especially important with the GTi wheels. Being 225/40/18, they are pretty low-profile.

The Falken FK452's?

Its a little too early to give an oppinion on how they are performing on my ED30. They are still wearing in, but they are getting better with every drive. Such as life with new tyres, you are a fool to be asking them to perform until they're worn in.

Even if they are mediocre tyres, christ they only cost me £63.00 a corner!

I managed to grab the keys again this mmorning & the grip (dry then wet in Lowestoft today) is very very good.
I have ran conti's, GY asseys & Kumhos on the A4, & these babies surpass all of them.
