This is no reason for LH to ditch Mclaren. He should have taken the gearbox change and a five place grid penalty, with his pace he still could have got a podium. 16pts is better than 0pts. I dare say ego had a part to play, in not wanting to gift pole to Maldonado, as there is known bad blood between them. It also would have put him behind Alonso

Still a podium is a podium!

11 laps to go. Button ftw. C'mon Jenson. Four on the trot for Mclaren!

Yeah as I was writing the last comment, Vettel took six tenths in one lap.

Really do not like the Singapore GP. Always sends me to sleep each year. Shame it now has the contract until 2017.

Can't see Lewis winning the championship now, very far behind

trouble is the drivers in front don't see them coming and turn in on them, not such a problem on traditional circuits

I actually did fall asleep...Ha! Woke up in time for LH gearbox to implode.

Will be tough to win now for sure.

Why do you say that? Surely it the front drivers mis judgement/ losing them in blind spot etc. It is a night race, however the lights they provide are pretty ample I'd say...Just like any other street circuit, how many of those type of accidents do you see there?  :lipsrsealed: (I know Monaco is a joke for overtaking but I hope you get my point!  :undecided:)

whatever the reason, there were a lot of drivers turning in on drivers trying to overtake this race! Might be a desperation thing, trying to overtake in places you wouldn't normally because there aren't any 'overtaking' corners

Some good crashes but overall a bit dull. Touring car has been good today though!
