I think the press have been pretty good on this one tbh. no-one has said anything the doctor doesn't say in the video.
the main difference between this and massa is that massa's injuries were a bit less obvious as far as possible outcome.

Sadly in this case it would be a complete miracle if kubica regained full "normal" fuction and feeling which is needed nowadays in F1 with all the switches and buttons they have to deal with in an already difficult enviroment.
I suspect his best case scenario will be enough recovery to maybe carrying on to compete in some other form of racing , ironically , probably rallying.

like i said before , i really do hope i'm wrong and he's back in an f1 car next year.

Let's hope kubica recovers and comes back stronger than ever. I remember Hakkinen crashing in 1995 and coming back stronger and winning the 1999 WDC

Best of luck Robert.

There's a photo of the barrier still in the car now, with Robert still inside. It's not very graphic but i won't post it, just link it for those who want to see how lucky he really is.

Had it been even fractionally more to the left of the car, he'd be gone. He's very, very lucky.

An accident that would have been noting more than a scratch and some panel dents if there hadn't been a gap in the barrier.
