Was last here couple of years ago, owned a J plate 1.8 CL. Unfortunately had to send her to the great scrap yard in the sky as bits were getting too expensive and money was tight. Afraid broke the faith few months later and bought an Mk5 Escort TD, but always missed my old Golf.
Well, finally made the decision. Escort gone onto Ebay and have literally just bought a 1.8 GL, 1994 on an L. So excited, cant wait to pick her up next week!
Got her for (I think) silly money. High mileage, but confident these cars can take it ... unless someone else knows otherwise!
