I'm going to change to a fully synthetic 5w-40 engine oil for a bit more protection..
I've always used the GSF semi 15w-40, but can anyone tell me if it's gonna need flushing right out before the new stuff goes in, please?

think 5w30 is too thin
makes my oil light and buzzer come on !!!!!!!!
stick with what VW used they spent millions (well thousands) on engine development , think they know what they were on about
