« on: 20 July 2004, 11:44 »
im the owner of a relativley standard mk2 16v and the time has come to improve the handling. ive been doing some research into fixed kits, but am usnure about which kit to choose. ive been looking at the KONI RSK kit and pretty much any other kit for around the ?250-300 mark.
if anyone has any past experiences with kits theyed recommend help would be appreciated!
also, is 60mm gonna be hassle free with no arch mods etc.... any words of wisdom will ve much appreciated!

Alright mate, i had the same problem a few months back. It just depends wether you want it hanlde REALLY well or just hanlde well. I decided that a golf gti was made for going round bends well, so i went for a Koni Eibach kit. Its dropped the car about 40ml which still looks cool & i don't get any probs with speed bumps etc. Its the best ?400 I ever spent,i've never driven a car that goes round bends as well as the golf does now :o.  But that's just my opinion.

All the best,
Matt

i have eibach 25mm springs & eibach ARB's and it handles really well, without compromising comfort
