How far with red light on ?

hi all does anyone no the range in the gti once reserve light is on, not that i drive without hardly any fuel all the time just a handy thing to know lol got mine down to 10 miles left on the display the other week whilst on m6 motorway trying to get to services cheers,  :smiley:

One of the guys on another forum ran his for another 24 miles after the range went to zero and still managed to get to a filling station before running out :shocked:

That is the most extreme case I have heard of......unless someone else knows more!!

I too was thinking this the other day as I've only chanced it fot about 4/5 miles when being on zero miles!, so any miracle miles would be appreciated!....????

i think once the red light comes on, there is around 5 litres left.

I ran out when the computer said I had 10 miles left in the tank. Rather embarrassing.

I have has 10miles for the last 15 miles!! Have previously done about 10 miles on 0... only an estimate though

I have a MASSIVE phobia (if you can call it that) of running out of petrol and will make an effort to fill up when I have a quarter left.
