Is your manual in German?
VW dealers sell an English version for £40-50.
All your answers are in there.

My manual's in English so will have a look through it eventually... just thought I'd ask whilst I thought about it.

how you finding the GTi compared to the TT, from performance, mpg, comfort, handling, feel etc.?

I'm actually liking the GTI a lot more, though it's not as powerful or quick as the TT was... and strangely I was able to get higher mpg from the Audi if I was careful with it.  I put that down to the fact it was the lightened quattro Sport special edition so had no back seats, less sound proofing etc etc.

The GTI is a lot firmer too which I prefer, so all in all I made the right decision in changing it.

Im sure the lights dont come on until your doing more than 100mph.

They also come on in bright sunshine to help others see you. A safety feature I was told after I phoned the dealer to get them looked at :nerd:

that's cool. well i've just sold my remapped TT 225, and nice to know the gti can be just as fun. but have it in my head for a r32 instead
