VAGCOM Golf Mk4 Instructions / Manual / How to's

Hi all

Just got VAGCOM up and running.

Read through the vagcom instructions from ross-tech.  But these aren't sepcific to my Golf.

What have the people that know how to do all the alarm tricks etc been reading - is there a golf manual I can download to learn what can be changed etc?

i suppose i just pictured a couple of hundred page vag bible on how to change everything.

do you find in your experience people just use vagcom for error code reading/clearing and turning alarm beeps on then ??

yeah you would think that and it would make things a lot easier!

most people do use it for that - myself i use it for data logging to ensure my car is firing on all cylinders and i'm able to pinpoint any potential problems

I'm still learning though so spend a lot of time reading up on things
