Fuel pumps, easy question to someone who knows
« on: 22 March 2009, 13:01 »
My fuel pump has died and I've been looking about for a used one. I,ve come across a MK2 GOLF GTI DIGIFANT FUEL PUMP, which looks slightly different to the one I need. Mine, straight off the car, has the main plastic box and two round cilinder thingys. The one on ebay only has 1 cilinder thingy. Whats the difference, apart from the obvious.

Thanks in advance  :undecided:

When you have found what pump you need, I have the whole set-up on an 89 digi I am breaking. Will be cheap too!   Spamtastic thread hi-jacking goodness!

i expect thats from a k-jet gti engine, rather than the later digifant engine...

I don't think a semi will give the same results

thats a k jet pump,    you need a k jet pump  digifant one won't work.     k jet pump will work with digifant tho
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

I would be carefull buying s/h, any crap / water left in the pump will soon ruin you injection system.
